About The Job As a skilled Sitecore Developer at Vertis, you will specialize in creating high-performance, scalable digital solutions on Sitecore XM Cloud. Working with the latest Cloud technologies, you will collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and other developers to build personalized and content-rich websites. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of Sitecore's architecture, Content Management systems, and modern front-end development practices. Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement solutions using Next.js and Sitecore XM Cloud, ensuring responsive and optimized web experiences. - Work with Sitecore Headless Services to integrate Sitecore's content APIs for seamless content delivery across devices and channels. - Collaborate with Front-End and UX/UI Designers to create rich and personalized experiences aligned with client needs and business objectives. - Optimize application performance by leveraging Sitecore's capabilities, maintaining high standards for performance, security, and SEO. - Integrate APIs and Third-Party Services into Sitecore XM Cloud to extend platform functionalities. - Utilize Cloud Services, preferably Vercel, for managing Sitecore XM Cloud deployments and performance optimizations. - Ensure quality code through best practices, testing, and adherence to agile methodologies. - Stay updated on the latest developments in Next.js, Sitecore XM Cloud, and headless CMS technologies for continuous project improvement. - Provide support and troubleshooting for Sitecore and Next.js implementations, collaborating with the DevOps team for smooth deployments. Requirement and Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 3+ years of experience with Sitecore (preferably Sitecore XM or XP, with experience in migrating to or working on Sitecore XM Cloud). - Strong proficiency in Next.js or React, and modern front-end development technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS). - Understanding of Sitecore development best practices for headless development. - Experience with Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Sitecore Certification is a plus. - Experience with React.js, JavaScript frameworks, JAMstack, and serverless architecture is beneficial. - Extensive experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL queries, and API layer optimizations. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in delivering scalable, maintainable code. - Understanding of OAuth2 standard and JSON Web Tokens. - Prior experience with Sitecore JSS is advantageous.
