Role & responsibilities

• Installation & Setup:

• Perform installation, configuration, and commissioning of [equipment/systems] at sites or project locations.
• Ensure all installations comply with safety standards, local regulations, and company guidelines.
• Conduct pre-installation site surveys and prepare necessary documentation.

Maintenance & Repair:

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on [equipment/systems] to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Perform corrective repairs, component replacements, and system adjustments as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs.

Technical Support:

• Provide technical assistance and support to clients or end-users on-site.
• Address inquiries, resolve technical problems, and offer guidance on the proper use of [equipment/systems].
• Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or engineering teams when necessary.

Preferred candidate profile

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering)
• [Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA, specific equipment certifications) are a plus.]

• Experience:

• 2-3years of proven experience as a Site Technician, Field Service Technician, or similar role.
• Experience with specific types of equipment, systems, or technologies relevant to your industry, e.g., industrial machinery, network hardware, HVAC systems, AC, access control systems.

Skills:

• Strong technical aptitude and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written) for interacting with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions (e.g., indoors, outdoors, confined spaces).
• Proficiency with basic hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and diagnostic software.
