Key Responsibilities

·      Maintenance of Inward Register, Outward Register and Stock Register.

·      Ensure that all the material received must be entered into inward register.

·      Daily entry in the stock register.

·      Daily these registers must be verified by Site Engineer.

·      Must check the quantity of material at the time of delivery as per challan also ensure the quality of material as per specification.

·      To entertain the material requisition from the site only after when the requisition paper is signed by site engineer and project manager both.

·      To check thoroughly whether required material is available in his store or not.

·      If material is not available then Indent is to be sent to purchase department.

·      To issue the material to contractor as per approved list received by Site Engineer/ Project Manager.

·      Keep on check that issued material has been utilised by the contractor and there is no wastage.

·      Daily visit to complete site and see the status whether any unused material is lying with any contractor or not. If any material is lying and getting wasted immediately inform to Project Manager.   

·      Physical Stock verification once in a month and signed report by Project Manager must be sent to CEO/Director.

·      Must give report to PM/CEO & Director for any material lying in stock for more than 3 months.

·      Must complete all the registers pertaining to Inward, Outward & Stock and to present in the monthly site meeting.
