Site Supervisor (Interior Designer firm)

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented interior site supervisor who manages and oversees the daily operations of interior construction and renovation projects, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to design specifications. They serve as the primary link between project managers, designers, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Management & Supervision: Oversee all on-site activities, including civil works, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and finishing.
• Coordination & Communication: Liaise with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, architects, and clients to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues promptly.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, ensuring strict adherence to design plans, blueprints, and quality standards.
• Safety & Compliance: Implement and enforce site-specific safety plans and health and safety regulations, ensuring all personnel use appropriate protective equipment.
• Resource Management: Coordinate material deliveries, manage inventory, minimize waste, and ensure the efficient availability and use of labour, equipment, and materials.
• Problem-Solving: Identify potential issues, technical challenges, or design discrepancies on-site and resolve them effectively to prevent delays and cost overruns.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed site records, including daily logs, progress reports, attendance records, material receipts, and inspection checklists for management and clients.
• Team Leadership: Provide positive direction, guidance, and training to site staff, subcontractors, and labourers, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: A high school diploma is a minimum requirement, but a diploma or bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design is often preferred.
• Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 2-5 years of site supervision experience, specifically in interior fit-out or construction projects.
• Technical Skills:
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings/blueprints.
• Proficiency in project management software, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of construction principles, methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
