The Synchronoss Site Reliability Engineer is primarily responsible for maintaining a highly technical and professional relationship with corporate clients during all phases of the client life cycle. From build-out, deployment, to ongoing client support. They will also create, and maintain, all documentation needed to ensure a high level of support. How you will help: Critical Skills: In depth knowledge of Linux system administration and support experience. Hands on experience including, but not limited to: Orchestration and Containerization technologies including Kubernetes and Docker AWS experience across the full breadth of AWS technologies. Ability to script in at least one of the following: Shell, Perl, or Python. Linux OS Administration, preferably Rocky Linux. Experience working with and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Ability to troubleshoot java server applications, Nginx, and APIs in distributed environments. Working understanding of NFS and storage technologies Enjoys learning and adapting to advancing technologies and procedural changes. Proven incident and problem solving (troubleshooting) skills with an emphasis on a timely resolution. Ability and desire to work in a team environment. Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills, with the ability to tailor communication to the intended audience. Experience working with ticketing systems. Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation. Who we have in mind: Familiarity with Configuration Management tools (Ansible, etc.) Familiarity with AWS and GCP Familiarity with Load Balancing Familiarity with Databases (MariaDB, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, etc.) Familiarity with a Monitoring solution (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, etc.) It would be great if you had: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in related fields Certificates of training in associated fields/equipment What we offer Synchronoss is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
