Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / DevOps Engineer

As a mid-level Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps Engineer at Stoopa.AI, your role involves designing and managing Azure cloud infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform or ARM/Bicep. You will be responsible for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for Java, Python, and React applications. Additionally, you will develop automation scripts and frameworks using Python, Bash, and YAML to optimize infrastructure for cost, security, and performance. Your key responsibilities include: - Designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform or ARM/Bicep). - Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for Java, Python, and React applications. - Developing automation scripts and frameworks using Python, Bash, and YAML. - Optimizing infrastructure for cost, security, and performance. - Deploying, administering, and scaling Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters. - Managing microservices deployment patterns including rolling, blue/green, and canary releases. - Implementing best practices around service mesh, ingress, autoscaling, and observability. - Maintaining container build standards and optimizing Docker images. - Setting up monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK, Data Dog or Azure equivalents. - Enabling SLO/SLI tracking and error-budget management. - Conducting root cause analysis (RCAs), performance tuning, and post-incident reviews. - Participating in an on-call rotation to ensure production system reliability. - Implementing DevSecOps practices within CI/CD and infrastructure. - Managing secret storage, code scanning, image scanning, role-based access, and network security. - Ensuring infrastructure and processes comply with SOC1, SOC2, and GDPR requirements. - Collaborating with the engineering team to embed secure coding and deployment standards. - Supporting PostgreSQL administration (preferably Azure Database for PostgreSQL) including backup/restore automation, performance tuning, monitoring & scaling. In terms of qualifications, you should have 3-6 years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles with strong hands-on experience in Azure, especially AKS, networking, monitoring, and security services. You should also possess expertise in Kubernetes, microservices, container technologies, and Python for automation tooling. A solid understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native design, Java, Python, and React-based microservices is required. Additionally, experience with Azure DevOps pipelines (CI/CD), PostgreSQL administration, and expertise in Site Reliability Engineering are essential. The ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, adapt to dynamic environments, and a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related technical discipline is preferred.,
