By harnessing cutting-edge technology, you will revolutionize digital offerings to ensure unparalleled customer experiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build, configure, and maintain production environments, with expertise in standard networking, preferably RHEL as OS. - Administer Redhat Products, especially RHEL 7/8/9, and utilize Chef or similar tools for end-to-end server configuration management. - Script and automate complex tasks, possess expert knowledge of server-side networking, and have familiarity with Kubernetes operations. - Demonstrate strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills, along with project management, interpersonal, and communication skills. - Be self-motivated and capable of making decisions independently, with a background in managing and troubleshooting low-latency trading environments. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in building, configuring, and maintaining production environments, including standard networking, preferably RHEL as OS. - Expert knowledge of administering Redhat Products, especially RHEL 7/8/9. - Proficiency in using Chef or similar tools for end-to-end server configuration management. - Proficient in scripting and automating complex tasks. - Expertise in server-side networking (TCP/UDP/Multicast) and knowledge of Kubernetes operations. The role at Barclays will be based out of Pune. To apply software engineering techniques, automation, and best practices in incident response, ensuring reliability, availability, and scalability of systems and platforms. **Accountabilities:** - Ensure availability, performance, and scalability of systems and services through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and capacity planning. - Analyze and respond to system outages, implement preventive measures, and develop tools for automation. - Monitor system performance, optimize resource usage, and collaborate with development teams to integrate best practices.
