Site Reliability Engineer

As a Service Reliability Engineer, your primary role is to maintain service-level agreements for critical production platforms or products and ensure the quality of service provided to clients is always top-notch. Your responsibilities include: - Hardening platforms or products before and after they go live by reviewing design, security and implementation, tuning configuration, developing auxiliary tools, and monitoring critical health indicators. - Monitoring platforms or products after go-live to measure availability, performance, and overall system health. - Recovering platforms or products during production incidents to meet service-level agreements. - Conducting detailed root cause analysis and post-mortem analysis. - Proactively seeking improvements in non-functional requirements and collaborating with development and product teams to enhance operational aspects. - Participating in the Change Advisory Board to validate new releases" readiness, security, and maturity through automated smoke tests. - Providing technical expertise to stakeholders as needed. - Driving SRE improvements across team members in collaboration with the SRE manager. - Coaching and mentoring different teams in technical areas, enhancing knowledge of related technologies such as monitoring, deployment, and cloud tools. - Supporting a proactive support approach, product design review, and collaborating with the development team during product development. - Communicating with internal and external stakeholders during planned interventions, changes, and outages. Qualifications required for this role include: - 3+ years of experience with application deployment. - Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash and Python. - Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platforms. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Experience with integration platforms. - Proficiency in APIs, REST, SOAP, and messaging queues. - Understanding of data formats such as JSON, XML, and YAML. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.,
