We have Immediate Openings for Site Reliability Engineer - Bangalore A Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) job description typically outlines responsibilities that bridge software development and IT operations, focusing on ensuring the smooth, reliable, and efficient operation of software systems and infrastructure . SREs monitor system performance, automate tasks, manage infrastructure, and respond to incidents to minimize downtime and maintain system availability. They also work on improving system resilience and performance through automation and system design. Core Responsibilities: Monitoring and Alerting : SREs monitor systems for performance issues, potential failures, and unusual behavior, setting up alerts to notify relevant teams when issues arise. Incident Response: REs are responsible for investigating and resolving incidents, including on-call rotations and handling escalated issues. Automation: SREs automate repetitive tasks, such as deployment, configuration management, and monitoring, to improve efficiency and reduce human error. Infrastructure Management: SREs manage the infrastructure that supports software systems, including servers, networking, and cloud resources. Performance Tuning: SREs analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to optimize system speed and efficiency. Capacity Planning: SREs plan for future capacity needs, ensuring that systems can handle expected loads and avoid performance degradation.
