Site QA/QC Engineer - Civil, Mech. & E&I

As a QA/QC Engineer, your role involves preparing and implementing method statements, procedures, and ITPs for Civil, Mech, and E&I works in accordance with contract specifications. You will also be responsible for evaluating sub-contractor workmen, conducting their induction, and monitoring their performance. Additionally, you will coordinate with clients for QA/QC submittal approval, daily inspections, audits, observation closure, and final system clearance. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate with clients for QA/QC submittal approval, inspections, audits, and observation closure. - Handle a team of field QA/QC inspectors, monitoring and mentoring them periodically. - Perform incoming material inspection and conduct periodic surveillance on preservation until installation. - Conduct on-site inspections of Civil, Mech, and E&I works. - Witness calibrations of all applicable equipment. - Organize and conduct periodic product quality audits specific to Civil, Mech, and E&I works. - Conduct root cause analysis for major failures and implement necessary corrective actions. - Capture learnings and implement best practices at the site in Civil, Mech, and E&I works. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field. - Proven experience in QA/QC roles within the construction industry. - Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures and methodologies. - Excellent communication and leadership skills.
