Site Incharge

As a Site Incharge in Kerala, you will be responsible for overseeing construction site management, particularly in large-scale auditorium or commercial building projects. With a minimum of 7-12 years of experience in this field, you will ensure that all on-site construction activities are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines. Your role will involve coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and labor teams to maintain a smooth workflow and uphold high-quality construction standards while adhering to safety regulations. Managing work schedules, labor deployment, and material requirements will be crucial in your project coordination and planning responsibilities. Additionally, you will liaise with architects, consultants, and engineers for design clarifications and modifications, providing progress reports to project managers and senior management during site meetings. Your focus on quality and safety compliance will involve conducting site inspections, implementing corrective measures for deviations, and maintaining a safe working environment in line with labor laws and safety regulations. In terms of material and resource management, you will monitor material usage, stock levels, and procurement to avoid delays, while minimizing wastage and optimizing resource utilization. Documenting daily progress reports, site records, work permits, and ensuring proper documentation of work inspections, approvals, and changes will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should hold a Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, possess strong knowledge of structural and finishing works in large-scale projects, and demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in technical tools like MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software is advantageous, along with a deep understanding of safety regulations and construction best practices.
