Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Site Supervision and Execution

Oversee day-to-day operations at the construction/project site.
Ensure work is executed as per drawings, design, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Supervise contractors, laborers, and site staff to ensure smooth workflow.

2. Project Planning and Coordination

Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
Prepare daily/weekly work schedules and allocate tasks to the team.
Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of work.

3. Quality Control

Ensure all materials used and work performed meet specified standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any issues or defects.
Ensure compliance with QA/QC processes and project specifications.

4. Resource and Material Management

Manage materials, tools, and equipment on site.
Maintain stock levels and ensure timely procurement to avoid work delays.
Prevent material wastage and theft.

6. Reporting and Documentation

Maintain daily work reports, labor deployment records, and site logs.
Report progress, delays, and issues to project managers or head office.
Assist in preparing measurements, bills, and documentation for billing.
