Site Engineer

Job Purpose:

To assist in the day-to-day site execution and monitoring of civil works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and safety guidelines at the airport project site in Trivandrum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in

  daily supervision

  of civil and structural works at the site as per project schedule.
• Coordinate with

  contractors, subcontractors, and vendors

  to ensure timely execution of work.
• Ensure

  quality control

  and adherence to technical specifications and approved drawings.
• Maintain daily

  site logs

  , labor reports, and material consumption records.
• Understand and support in execution of

  airport-specific structures

  (pavements, taxiways, terminal buildings, drainage, etc.).
• Monitor

  safety practices

  at the site under the guidance of the Safety Officer/HSE team.
• Assist in

  survey and layout marking

  under supervision.
• Support in

  material inspection, documentation

  , and basic quantity take-off.
• Attend regular project briefings and prepare

  progress reports

  for internal review.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Basic knowledge of

  civil engineering practices

• Willingness to learn airport-specific construction norms and

  MoCA / AAI

  guidelines.
• Strong observational and documentation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a

Preferred Attributes:

• Exposure to

  internship or academic project

  related to transportation/airport/infrastructure projects (preferred but not mandatory).
• Proficiency in

  AutoCAD

  MS Excel

  .
• Willingness to work in

  shifts

  extended hours
