Position Overview

Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision & Execution

• Supervise and monitor on-site activities to ensure work is executed as per drawings, design specifications, and quality standards.
  
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, supervisors, and labor teams.
  
• Ensure timely completion of daily tasks and maintain workflow efficiency.
  

Technical & Documentation

• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and BOQs.
  
• Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR) and submit to the project manager.
  
• Assist in preparing work schedules, material requirement plans, and cost estimations.
  
• Conduct quality checks on materials, workmanship, and procedures.
  

Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with project managers, architects, consultants, and clients.
  
• Assist in resolving on-site technical issues and implementing corrective actions.
  
• Coordinate inspections with quality and safety teams.
  

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure site safety protocols and statutory regulations are strictly followed.
  
• Monitor usage of PPE and enforce safety guidelines.
  
• Identify and report potential hazards or risks.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors/Diploma in

  Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

  (as applicable).
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer in construction/infrastructure projects.
  
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, site execution, and quality standards.
  
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry practices.
  
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and site management tools (optional).
  
• Good communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with project management tools (Primavera, MS Project).
  
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulatory guidelines.
  
• Familiarity with modern construction technologies.
  
• Experience in Quantity Surveying (QS) or Billing Engineering.
