Site Engineer

Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the site to ensure work progress as per schedule and quality standards. Interpret structural and architectural drawings and ensure proper execution on site. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Monitor labor, material usage, and equipment to ensure cost-effective site operations. Ensure safety protocols are followed strictly and regularly conduct site safety checks. Conduct quality checks for civil works, finishing, MEP (if applicable), and ensure defect-free delivery. Prepare and maintain site reports, checklists, daily logs, and submit progress updates to project managers. Assist in managing site inventory, indenting materials, and tracking deliveries. Resolve on-site issues quickly in consultation with senior engineers and architects. Requirements: Bachelors/Diploma in Civil Engineering. 1-3 years of relevant experience in site execution, preferably in residential and commercial real estate projects. Proficiency in reading construction drawings and using AutoCAD or similar tools. Strong understanding of building materials, RCC, masonry, waterproofing, finishing, etc. Familiarity with local building codes, site safety practices, and labor management. Good communication and coordination skills. Willingness to be present on-site full-time and manage multiple vendors/teams. Preferred Qualities: Prior experience working with a real estate developer. Knowledge of MS Excel and basic reporting formats. Ability to work under pressure and manage timelines.
