Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Construction Site Supervision

   : Directly oversee daily construction activities to ensure that they are executed as per the engineering plans. Monitor site operations to confirm that all work aligns with construction drawings and specifications.

2. Workforce Management

   : Supervise site personnel, including subcontractors and labor teams, to ensure efficient and effective execution of construction tasks. Schedule and coordinate the activities of crew members and engineering technicians.

3. Quality Assurance Oversight

   : Supervise the implementation of quality control measures to maintain high standards of construction. Ensure that materials and workmanship meet or exceed the projects specifications and industry standards.

4. Safety Compliance

   : Act as the primary safety officer on-site, enforcing strict adherence to safety regulations and standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and hold safety meetings to prevent workplace accidents.

5. Technical Problem Resolution

   : Provide immediate solutions to technical issues that arise on-site, making decisions that adhere to structural safety without compromising the project's integrity or timeline.

6. Site Documentation and Reporting

   : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of construction progress, compliance with the projects specifications, and any deviations or issues. Prepare and submit daily reports on workforce activities, resource allocation, and project milestones.

7. Stakeholder Communication

   : Act as the point of contact for all on-site communication with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and inspectors. Communicate progress and address any concerns related to the construction activities.

8. Equipment and Material Logistics

   : Oversee the logistical operations of construction materials and equipment. Ensure timely availability and optimal use of resources to avoid delays and maximize efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Extensive experience in construction management and site supervision.
• Profound knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Skilled in using engineering software for project tracking and reporting, such as MS Project or similar.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams in a dynamic and challenging environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
