Site Engineer ( Maintenance )

Responsibilities :

1. Maintenance & Supervision - Oversee day-to-day maintenance activities at the site, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted operations. Conduct regular inspections of equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure to identify potential faults or risks. Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules. Supervise technicians, contractors, and vendors during maintenance jobs to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical breakdowns and coordinate quick resolution to minimize downtime. Ensure timely documentation of all maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and service logs.
2. Equipment & Technical Management - Monitor performance of plant and machinery and ensure optimal operational efficiency. Maintain inventory of tools, spares, and consumables; coordinate procurement when required. Recommend technical improvements and upgrades to enhance site performance. Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and statutory requirements.
3. Safety & Compliance - Ensure all maintenance work complies with company safety policies and statutory guidelines. Conduct routine safety checks, risk assessments, and ensure usage of proper PPE. Support audits, inspections, and implementation of safety improvement actions.
4. Coordination & Reporting - Coordinate with cross-functional teams production, quality, utilities, and administration for maintenance-related activities. Prepare daily/weekly maintenance reports and share updates with management. Liaise with external vendors for AMC services, repairs, and technical support.
