Job Title:

About the Role:

installation, testing, commissioning, and monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute field installation, testing, and commissioning of geotechnical instruments, geodetic targets, and monitoring systems at project sites such as hydropower plants, dams, powerhouses, metro tunnels, and high-rise structures.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain instruments, ensuring mechanical and electrical protection and system integrity.
  • Conduct regular monitoring, process field data, and prepare technical reports with basic data interpretation.
  • Supervise client-assigned activities such as cable laying, drilling, and grouting.
  • Promptly alert the client regarding any abnormal readings or significant changes observed during site monitoring.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation including work schedules, installation reports, daily/weekly/monthly progress reports, site feedback, and control sheets.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations applicable to the site.
  • Coordinate effectively with third-party contractors and internal teams for seamless project execution.
  • Serve as a key liaison between the client and Encardio Rite for all site-related communication and coordination.
  • Participate in client and consultant progress meetings and provide project updates.
  • Maintain inventory records of materials available at the site and update the client in case of shortages or requirements.

Key Deliverables:

  • Successful execution of field assignments as per project timelines and client satisfaction.
  • Preparation and submission of accurate and complete technical documentation.
  • Timely certification of client invoices for field execution.
  • On-time submission of monitoring reports and AAA breach incidence forms.

Qualifications:

  • B.E./B.Tech in

    Civil

    ,

    Electrical

    , or

    Instrumentation & Electronics Engineering

    .

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in installation, testing, commissioning, and monitoring of geotechnical instruments.
  • Knowledge of data analysis, interpretation, and reporting of geotechnical measurements.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings related to instrumentation layouts.
  • Familiarity with geotechnical instrumentation specifications, soil and rock behavior, and related concepts.
  • Proficiency in

    MS Office (especially Excel)

    ; knowledge of

    AutoCAD

    and

    basic computer networking

    preferred.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (emails, technical reports, etc.).
  • Good team collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective project management and coordination capabilities.
