Signal Processing Engineer

As a Senior Signal Processing & Machine Learning Engineer at our company, you will be a key member of the R&D team based in Pune, Maharashtra. Your role will involve designing advanced signal processing algorithms, utilizing machine learning techniques for time-series data, and implementing real-time solutions across various application domains. **Key Responsibilities:** - Research, design, and implement signal processing algorithms including filtering, FFT, STFT, and wavelet transforms. - Develop and train ML/DL models for predictive modeling, anomaly detection, and signal classification. - Handle time-series and sensor data through preprocessing, noise reduction, and feature engineering. - Optimize algorithms for real-time applications and embedded systems. - Collaborate with hardware, data science, and software teams for system-level integration. - Stay updated on the latest advancements in DSP and ML research to contribute innovative ideas. - Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. **Required Qualifications & Skills:** - M.Tech or Ph.D. in Signal Processing, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field. - 3 years of professional experience in signal processing & ML. - Strong knowledge of DSP fundamentals such as transforms, filtering, spectral analysis, and adaptive methods. - Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C/C++. - Familiarity with ML libraries/frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn. - Experience in time-series/sensor data analysis. - Solid foundation in statistics, linear algebra, and optimization. **Preferred Skills (Good to Have):** - Deep learning expertise for signal and time-series data including CNNs, RNNs, and Transformers. - Background in Underwater Signal Processing. - Experience with real-time embedded systems like DSP processors, FPGAs, and GPUs. - Exposure to wireless communication, vibration/acoustic analysis, or radar/sonar applications.
