Signal Processing Engineer

As a Senior Signal Processing/Machine Learning Engineer at our company based in Pune, Maharashtra, you will be an essential part of our R&D team. Your primary responsibility will be to develop advanced signal processing algorithms and leverage machine learning techniques for time-series data in various application domains. Below are the details of your role, responsibilities, and qualifications: Role Overview: You will play a crucial role in designing cutting-edge signal processing algorithms and implementing machine learning models for real-time solutions. Your work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams and staying updated with the latest developments in DSP and ML research. Key Responsibilities: - Research, design, and implement signal processing algorithms such as filtering, FFT, STFT, and wavelet transforms. - Develop ML/DL models for predictive modeling, anomaly detection, and signal classification. - Preprocess time-series and sensor data, perform noise reduction, and conduct feature engineering. - Optimize algorithms for real-time and embedded systems. - Collaborate with hardware, data science, and software teams for seamless integration. - Stay informed about advancements in DSP and ML to bring innovative ideas to the table. - Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders. Required Qualifications & Skills: - M.Tech or Ph.D. in Signal Processing, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field. - 3 years of professional experience in signal processing and ML. - Strong knowledge of DSP fundamentals including transforms, filtering, and spectral analysis. - Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C/C++. - Familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn. - Experience in time-series and sensor data analysis. - Solid understanding of statistics, linear algebra, and optimization. Preferred Skills (Good to Have): - Expertise in deep learning for signal and time-series data using CNNs, RNNs, and Transformers. - Background in Underwater Signal Processing. - Hands-on experience with real-time embedded systems such as DSP processors, FPGAs, and GPUs. - Exposure to wireless communication, vibration/acoustic analysis, or radar/sonar applications.
