Designation SLI Cum Trainer Functional Area No of Openings GROW PwD - Operations Grow is a flagship program of Dr.Reddys Foundation designed to skill youth of India. This position aims to develop employability skills among the unemployed youth with disability who are 10th pass or above, so that they can be employed in the private sector jobs. Core employability skills includes Communicative English, Digital litereacy, Soft Skills, Communication Skills, Digital Problem Solving, Sector & Career Rediness, and interview skills. The objective of the position Training: 1. Following the predefined session plan while delivering training to the identified youth 2. Train students on the core employability skills and identified other subjects based on the curriculum that is designed by DRF. 3. Prepare learners to face interviews confidently 4. Conduct assessments as per the plan to continue to measure the progress of the students 5. Maintain data with respect to training and related activities. 6. Participate in center activities (such as organizing Parents meet, doing retention followup, collecting training feedback etc.) along with the other staff members to make the center successful. Counselling: Major Deliverables 7. Extend support to Area Head or counsellor in counselling aspirants during admission process by acting as a interpreter. Collaborating with the Employers: 8. Support Employers during the interviews aspirant interivews by being an interpreter between students and employers 9. Extend support to employer in inducting selected students into their organization, only if respective organizations does not have dedicated SLIs. Other deliverables if SLI Cum trainer is interested in operations 1. Paricitipation in seminars to mobilise youth 2. Centre level reports 3. Employer connect for placement of youth Reporting To Locations Area Head 1. Proficient in Indian Sign Language Funtional Competency (technical) 2. Basic English Language Proficiency [Basic] 3. Knoweldge of basic computers Exposure of working with computers 4. Ability to train adults who are hearing impaired 1. Strong Work Ethics. Other Non-Technical Competencies 2. Cultural sensitivity and understanding of the deaf community's culture and norms 3. Empathy, Patience, and understanding of students 4. Belives in innovation in training for greater effectiveness Qualification Any Graduation & certified or accredited by recognized institute on Sign Lanaguage Min one year experience working with hearing-impaired individuals, particularly in educational or skill development centers. Experience in years Willingness to learn new skills needed to preform the role: Ms Excel, Training methodologies Other requirements
