Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Shopify Backend Developer with strong knowledge of WordPress development to join our onsite team in Mohali (Phase 8). The candidate will work on Shopify backend development, custom integrations, and WordPress-based solutions for eCommerce projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Shopify backend functionality and custom apps
• Work with Shopify REST & GraphQL APIs
• Customize Shopify themes and backend workflows
• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and plugins
• Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, and APIs
• Optimize website performance, security, and scalability
• Collaborate with designers and frontend developers
• Debug, test, and maintain existing applications

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Shopify development
• Strong experience with WordPress (themes, plugins, custom development)
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML, CSS
• Experience with Shopify Liquid
• Knowledge of REST & GraphQL APIs
• Understanding of eCommerce workflows and best practices
• Ability to work onsite in Mohali (Phase 8)

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with WooCommerce
• Knowledge of Node.js or Laravel
• Familiarity with Git/version control
• Experience with performance optimization and security practices
