Role Overview: You are a talented Shopify Developer with 2-3 years of experience in Shopify Backend, joining the eCommerce development team at IceCube Digital. Your main responsibility will be to develop, customize, and optimize Shopify and Shopify Plus stores for global brands. You will collaborate closely with designers and backend teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus stores. - Implement custom themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Integrate and customize Shopify Apps and APIs. - Work with Shopify Functions, Checkout UI Extensions, and metafields. - Utilize AI-assisted development tools for coding acceleration and troubleshooting. - Conduct research and generate technical insights for performance optimization and automation. - Collaborate with the design team to convert layouts into responsive Shopify themes. - Optimize site speed, SEO performance, and maintain version control using Git. - Follow agile processes and maintain proper documentation. Qualification Required: - Proficient in Shopify Liquid templating and theme development. - Experience with Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL) and Storefront API. - Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery. - Familiar with Shopify CLI, Checkout Extensibility, and Shopify Functions. - Experience with JSON templates, dynamic sections, and metafields. - Understanding of AI-assisted development workflows. - Experience with Git version control and CI/CD deployment workflows. - Knowledge of site performance optimization, caching, and SEO best practices.,
