Shopify Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify themes and templates using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Convert Figma/Sketch/PSD designs into responsive Shopify storefronts.
• Customize existing Shopify themes and apps based on business and design requirements.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and performance optimization.
• Implement interactive UI components and animations using JavaScript or front-end libraries.
• Collaborate with the UI/UX team to improve customer experience and interface design.
• Work with backend developers to integrate APIs and dynamic data rendering.
• Debug frontend issues and perform code reviews to ensure coding standards are met.
• Keep up with the latest Shopify updates, best practices, and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with Shopify frontend development.
• Proficiency in Liquid (Shopify templating language), HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Experience in developing and customizing Shopify themes (both free and premium).
• Familiarity with Shopify sections, metafields, and schema settings.
• Knowledge of responsive frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS is a plus.
• Understanding of performance optimization and basic SEO for e-commerce.
• Basic Git/version control knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• New Town, Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Shopify: 1 year (Preferred)
