Shopify Developer

Responsibilities:

• Experience with multiple Shopify projects from mid to high level of complexity especially on E-commerce platforms.
• Generate custom-tailored Shopify theme and alter the pre-existing template
• Certified Shopify Developer preferred .

Would Should You Have:

• Strong knowledge of the Shopify platform .
• A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.
• Expertise in Shopify theme development and customization
• Expert-level knowledge of Shopify Liquid templating language
• Previous work experience of working on multiple Shopify projects from mid to high level
• Excellent written and verbal communication .
• Proficiency in working with different Shopify JS APIs (storefront, AJAX Cart, Sections, etc)
• An expertise in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScriptECMA ECMAScript 56 & jQuery.
• Thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
• Strong understanding of responsive web design techniques
• An understanding of W3C web standards semantics and accessibility guidelines
• Know-how of debugging and testing software for cross-browser compatibility
• Generate custom-tailored Shopify theme and alter the pre-existing template
• Be highly experienced in building high-end eCommerce stores on several platforms with a good portfolio
• Understand the requirements from briefs, do thorough research, and based on previous experiences -propose the most suitable solution platform with an ETA.
• Prototype solutions quickly, research new technologies - where applicable and collaborate to implement the technical vision.
• Possess both technical & soft skills and am expected to be a mentor for entry-level engineers.
• Develop websites, applications, and rich multi-media experiences according to the brief and technical specifications.
• Work closely with other developers to integrate the applications according to departmental standards and processes.
• Serve as an interface between engineers and clients product managers, gathering requirements, writing technical specifications & documentation of feature sets.
