Shopify Developer

As a Shopify Developer with 5+ years of experience in the eCommerce domain, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Demonstrating leadership skills by ideating, providing solutions, and defining roadmaps for clients migrating to Shopify from other eCommerce platforms, preferably from SFCC to Shopify. - Engaging in full-stack web application development using languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and React. - Showcasing proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and a strong understanding of the DOM. - Previous experience with custom themes, the Storefront API, and implementing/debugging third-party Shopify apps. - Familiarity with Shopify's theming system, Liquid templating, object/properties, AJAX API, and Meta fields. - Experience building unique solutions or custom apps within Shopify. - Proficiency in vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, ES2015/ES6, and various JavaScript frameworks. - Knowledge of cloud provider services like AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Understanding of object-oriented design principles and practical application in code. - Familiarity with backend frameworks like Rails, Django, Spring, and JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, Angular. - Strong grasp of agile, lean, DevOps principles, testing, CI/CD, and observability. - Passion for writing clean, elegant code. - Experience working with streaming media or wellness verticals. - Exposure to multiple aspects of the tech stack including Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Postgres, Elasticsearch, Redis, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Stripe APIs. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree preferred. - Minimum 5 years of experience as a Shopify Developer preferred. Please note that this is a contractual/temporary position with a duration of 6 months. The work schedule is Monday to Friday during morning shifts in either UK or US time zones. You will have the benefit of working remotely from home.,
