Job Opportunity: Floor Manager at Mechanical machine shop

We are seeking an experienced Floor Manager with expertise in Mechanical Machining Works and Tool & Die Making to join our dynamic team. If you have a B-Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience, this role offers an exciting opportunity to lead operations in a Machine Shop environment.

Location: Odakkali, Perumbavoor, Kerala -683549

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the machine shop and ensure smooth workflow.

Supervise mechanical machining projects, maintaining high-quality standards.

Manage and coordinate Tool & Die making activities.

Lead a team of machinists and technicians to meet production goals.

Implement and maintain safety and efficiency protocols on the shop floor.

Liaise with clients and other departments to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.

Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or operational issues in Mechanical parts

Requirements:

B-Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical , machining shop or tool & die making.

Strong leadership and management skills with experience handling shop floor operations.

Knowledge of Lathe, Milling & Surface Grinding machines and various mechanical tools.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and organizational skills.
