Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a Shift Engineer in the Packing Plant operations of Dalmia Bharat Limited. The Shift Engineer will oversee day-to-day operational processes within the packing plant, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. Responsibilities include troubleshooting machinery, maintaining safety standards, monitoring performance metrics, and coordinating with team members to meet production targets. The role demands strong analytical and technical capabilities to ensure optimal performance and resolve any operational challenges swiftly.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems with efficiency.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical and operational issues.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems is essential.
  • Customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and operational best practices in an industrial environment is beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant Engineering disciplines is highly preferred.
