POSITION : SHIFT FIELD ENGINEER (MRS)
KEY ROLE :
Responsible for Power System operation. Achieving highest reliability of power system in addition to meet with required parameters & quality.
Responsible for power distribution and clearance to down stream units / sub stations.
Responsible for safe start up and shut down of equipment
Responsible for handling Power system emergencies.
FUNCTIONS :
To work on EHV Electrical power system like 220kV GIS, 33kV GIS, EHV transformers along with NIFPS.
To operate the power system with highest reliability.
To observe trends of important parameters & to take corrective actions for the deviations to maintain the quality & reliability.
To maintain record, log books for the jobs carried out.
To record power system parameters on regular basis & maintain records.
To maintain good housekeeping in his area.
To ensure minimum downtime of power system & all electrical equipments.
To maintain record of bypass of trip and interlocks as per procedures.
To communicate and coordinate with the executives in the field and other process units.
Conduct ReSOP as per target.
Reporting of nearmiss & incidents in System.
Get involved in PSM/OMS activities.
