Role Overview: NewRocket, a global Elite ServiceNow partner, is seeking a Senior Solution Architect with ITOM experience to join their team. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for leading a team of Software Engineers to develop project professional services for customers. Your role will involve implementing and developing customizations based on functional and technical requirements using leading practices and internal code standards on large-scale professional services projects. Key Responsibilities: - Interface with end-users and key stakeholders to gather systems requirements for ITOM - Develop and implement ITOM programs, policies, and control frameworks - Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis on ServiceNow platform issues - Participate in project teams to define, design, and develop ITOM solutions on the ServiceNow platform - Support and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems - Collaborate with stakeholders and end users to understand requirements and deliver effective ServiceNow solutions - Participate in platform upgrades, clone, patching, and performance optimization initiatives - Promote update sets and data across applicable SN environments - Ensure adherence to best practices in ServiceNow development and configuration - Align with existing SN technical lead for map/event work to ensure a consistent approach - Document technical solutions, workflows, and issue resolutions Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience in developing/implementing on the ServiceNow platform, including ITOM - Minimum 5+ years" experience working in software development involving ServiceNow ITOM products - Minimum of 3 years of experience in an architect role - Strong experience with ServiceNow modules, including ITOM - Solid understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards - Coding and configuring integrations between ServiceNow and data source systems - Experience working with risk or compliance teams, tools, practices - Experience with working with customers to understand business problems and translate to technical requirements - Experience with Web Services Integration (SOAP, REST) and automated integration between systems - Experience with discovery, requirements gathering, and build out of core ServiceNow functionality - Knowledge of ServiceNow scripting including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder, Scripted REST APIs, and Script Includes - Ability to create technical design documents and user documentation Additional Details: NewRocket, a global, full-service Elite ServiceNow partner, was recently awarded the "2024 ServiceNow Worldwide Customer Workflow Partner of the Year" and "2023 ServiceNow Creator Workflow Partner of the Year".
