ServiceNow Developer ITOM Discovery & Service Mapping

Role Overview: You will be responsible for performing end-to-end Discovery and Service Mapping activities, which includes executing the complete mapping of critical Enterprise Platform applications, non-Time Critical and core applications hosted on premise and in the Cloud, troubleshooting and resolving discovery and pattern related issues, reviewing, modifying, and developing new ServiceNow patterns, and meeting with application and IT teams for signoffs of completed application services. Key Responsibilities: - Perform end-to-end Discovery and Service Mapping activities - Execute mapping of critical Enterprise Platform applications and dependencies - Map non-Time Critical and core applications hosted on premise and in the Cloud - Troubleshoot and resolve discovery and pattern related issues - Review, modify, and develop new ServiceNow patterns - Meet with application and IT teams for signoffs of completed application services Qualifications Required: - Possess intermediate or expert level competency in ServiceNow ITOM Discovery and Service Mapping module - Minimum 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow Service Mapping experience - Completed service mapping of at least 50 large and complex on-premise and Cloud hosted applications and platforms - Hands-on experience with mapping application-to-application and application-to-platform dependencies - Intermediate knowledge and ability in Server Administration across OS platforms - Understanding of protocols such as HTTP, TCP, SNMP, SOAP, and REST - Familiarity with XML, JSON/script language concepts - Knowledge of Web and Application Servers, Load Balancers, Databases, and Virtualization - Intermediate Windows and Unix administration skills - Familiarity with network concepts - Strong analytical and problem-solving ability - Strong interpersonal skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - High level of initiative with a proven ability to work independently Note: The company is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace where individuals from all backgrounds feel valued and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives.
