Summary

ServiceNow Developer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications using low-code/no-code and scripted development.
Work across
PI (Program Increment)
cycles, contributing to planning, development, testing, and deployment.
Lead and support
REI (Release Engineering & Implementation)
activities including versioning, release coordination, and deployment.
Build and enhance workflows, business rules, catalog items, integrations, and UI policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, product owners, QA, and platform administrators.
Ensure alignment with Agile methodologies and maintain documentation for all technical activities.
Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
Maintain compliance with ServiceNow best practices and organizational standards.

Requirements

Minimum 8+ years
of total experience with strong exposure to
ServiceNow development
.
Proven experience working with
PI (Program Increment)
frameworks.
Hands-on expertise in
REI (Release Engineering and Implementation)
.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Workflow.
Experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript), API integrations, and Glide Framework.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
ServiceNow certifications (Developer, Admin, or Implementation Specialist) are an added advantage.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
