ServiceNow Developer

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong working knowledge of the following ServiceNow modules and components:

• ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge Management)

• ITOM (Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping)

• CMDB (Configuration Management Database)

• Service Portal and Integration Hub

• Hands-on experience and proficiency in

  JavaScript

  ,

  AngularJS

  , and other scripting languages.
• Proven experience in

  system integration

   using

  REST/SOAP

  , XML, JSON, HTML, AJAX, CSS, and HTTP.
• Ability to

  extend the ServiceNow schema

   to create custom applications and tables.
• Expertise in

  Workflow Editor

   and

  Flow Designer

   for process automation.
• Experience in

  ServiceNow platform upgrades

  , testing, and release management.
• Knowledge of

  ServiceNow licensing and entitlement structure

  .
• Familiarity with

  Automated Testing Framework (ATF)

   in ServiceNow.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work in a global team setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ServiceNow peers including administrators, business analysts, developers, and architects to deliver projects and enhancements.
• Develop and configure applications using

  ServiceNow

   and

  JavaScript

   technologies in accordance with defined requirements and best practices.
• Design and implement workflows, flow designers, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and UI actions.
• Perform

  ServiceNow integrations

   with various internal and external applications using REST/SOAP APIs and other web-based technologies.
• Assist the ServiceNow Architect in planning, testing, and implementing

  platform upgrades

   between development and production environments.
• Build and extend

  ServiceNow Scoped Applications

   for internal users and enhance functionality as per business needs.
• Develop customized and interactive

  Service Portal web pages

   using widgets built with

  Bootstrap

   and

  AngularJS

   frameworks.
• Support

  CMDB health

  , maintenance, and data accuracy initiatives.
• Work closely with onshore and offshore ServiceNow teams to ensure project delivery within timelines and compliance standards.
• Provide post-deployment support, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary fixes or improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

    Mandatory

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)

    Preferred
• Experience working in

  Agile/Scrum environments

• Exposure to ITIL processes and best practices
