Service Technician - E Auto

As a Service Technician - E Auto at our company, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and diagnostic tests on electric vehicles to identify issues. Your key responsibilities will include: - Performing necessary repairs on electric vehicle systems, including battery management, electric drivetrains, and regenerative braking systems. - Following manufacturer guidelines for routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and system flushes. - Inspecting, testing, and replacing high-voltage batteries and their components. - Calibrating and programming battery management systems. - Maintaining clear and accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed. - Adhering to all safety protocols while handling high-voltage systems and components. - Communicating repair needs and statuses to customers professionally and understandably. - Ensuring that all work complies with industry standards and regulations. - Providing exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns about electric vehicle maintenance and repairs. - Educating customers on proper vehicle care and answering questions about electric vehicle technology. In addition to your primary duties, you will also be expected to: - Collaborate with other technicians and departments to improve service quality and efficiency. - Assist in ordering and stocking materials as needed. - Ensure that all tools and equipment are in proper working order and report any issues to management. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience as an E Vehicle Service Technician with strong communication and interpersonal skills. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required, and a technical certification or degree in a related field is an advantage.
