Service & Maintenance Technician

*Job Summary:*

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lift Service & Maintenance Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safe operation and functionality of elevators and lifts through regular service, maintenance, inspections, and repairs. The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality service.

*Responsibilities:*

- Conduct routine inspections of elevators and lifts to identify and resolve issues promptly.

- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems and repair or replace defective components.

- Respond to service calls and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

- Test newly installed equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety regulations.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed, including parts used and services rendered.

- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors on larger projects or complex repairs.

- Adhere to safety standards and protocols while working on elevators and lifts.

- Stay updated on industry standards, technology advancements, and regulatory requirements.

*Requirements:*

- Diploma or Engineering graduate must experience in elevator service & maintenance.

- Proven experience as a lift maintenance technician or a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of elevator systems, components, and mechanics.

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex problems efficiently.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces as required.

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
