Watrana group is augmenting its Service team and searching for people with technical knowledge in Material Handling Equipment (Forklift/ RT/ BOPT/ Stacker etc) Position Overview: As a Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Technician, you will oversee the safe operation, repairs and preventative maintenance of MHE equipment, including electric and diesel forklifts, pallet truck, stackers and BOPT, while also providing assistance to the supervisor of maintenance. Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Attend assigned service calls at customer site. 2. Identify faults & provide solution independently using skills & experience. 3. Attend assigned breakdown complaint for Battery Forklift/Electric Forklift/Stackers/BOPT. 4. Prepare service reports for work done. 5. Identify spares required if any and recommend. 6. Preparation of Service report of machines after resolving service issue. 7. All maintenance works related mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic of all type of MHE, 8. Routine / periodical check-up/ inspection of all type of MHE, 9. Checking of all other essential/ mandatory requirement of MHE before movement of MHE, 10. Reduce / minimise breakdown timings by taking immediate and appropriate steps, 11. To plan and execute Preventive maintenance as per their schedule. 12. Preparation of Service report of machines after its maintenance on regular basis. 13. Material handling equipment maintenance helps in keeping essential systems online and optimized with preventive maintenance and timely repairs. 14. Maintaining daily communications with Manager to ensure resolution and proper follow-up. Education & Experience: ITI or Diploma or bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical. At least 3 year of service experience in Material Handling or Warehousing industry. Experience of repair & maintenance of MHE used in warehouses (eg. Battery Forklift/Electric Forklift/Stackers/BOPT) ¢ ¢ With knowledge & experience of executing maintenance activities at customer site independently. Problem solving ability with optimal cost.
