Service Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site installation, maintenance, and repair services for civil engineering equipment and systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues effectively to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Collaborate with clients to understand service needs and provide timely solutions.
• Maintain service reports, documentation, and logs for all site visits and maintenance activities.
• Assist in training client staff on proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Coordinate with internal teams including engineering, production, and procurement for timely resolution of technical issues.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies during service operations.
• Keep updated with new technologies and best practices in civil engineering service solutions.
• Travel frequently within Bangalore and nearby locations as required.

Desired profile:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in service, maintenance, or technical support roles in civil engineering or related industries.
• Good understanding of civil engineering equipment, machinery, and construction site processes.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills in English and Kannada/Hindi.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Preferred skills:

• Experience with specific civil engineering equipment (e.g., concrete mixers, pumps, surveying instruments) is a plus.
• Familiarity with safety standards and compliance in construction sites.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic reporting tools.
