Service Engineer - Ship Crane

As a Service Engineer at Liebherr India Private Limited, your primary role will be to diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul port equipment such as harbour mobile cranes, reach stackers, ship cranes, offshore cranes, and construction machinery. Your responsibilities will include: - Applying electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical theory to test and modify operational machinery and control systems - Operating machines for testing, inspection, diagnosis, and troubleshooting - Repairing and replacing damaged parts with OEM spares and reassembling heavy equipment - Conducting routine maintenance, examining parts for wear, and ensuring compliance with manufacturers" specifications - Overhauling and testing machines for efficiency and safety - Completing assigned paperwork, overseeing quality standards, and promoting a safe work environment - Maintaining tools, equipment, and service literature - Training and mentoring others in the department Qualifications required for this role include: - Completed technical apprenticeship covering electric, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic training - Experience with part lists, cranes maintenance, fault finding, and control systems - Demonstrated initiative, willingness to travel, and ability to interact with all staff levels - Negotiating and communication skills, confidentiality handling, and self-motivated behaviour - Fluent in spoken and written English, additional language skills are advantageous Liebherr India Private Limited offers compensation at industry standards, corporate health and term life insurance, financial stability, annual reviews, service awards, career progression, and the opportunity to join a dynamic and safety-focused team.
