Position Overview

As a Service Engineer / Service Executive, you will be responsible for installation,

commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Vepolink’s analytical

instruments, IoT devices, and electrical/electronic systems.

You will work directly with customers, internal technical teams, and vendors to ensure

smooth field operations and seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation & Commissioning

• Install, configure, and commission analytical, electrical, and electronic

instruments at client sites.

• Perform calibration, testing, and system readiness verification.

• Ensure proper integration and connectivity with Vepolink cloud monitoring

systems.

2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Attend service calls and efficiently resolve equipment faults or breakdowns.

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedule.

• Replace defective components, sensors, and modules with accurate

documentation of service activities.

3. Field Operations

• Conduct equipment inspections, performance checks, and site evaluations.

• Coordinate with client teams to schedule site visits and ensure smooth execution.

• Provide field-level technical support and best-practice guidance.

4. Customer Support & Reporting

• Provide operational training to customers on equipment handling and safety.

• Prepare detailed installation reports, service logs, and maintenance

documentation.

• Escalate unresolved technical issues to senior engineers or the Technical Head.

5. Coordination & Team Collaboration

• Collaborate with Service, Sales, Operations, and Vendor teams for project

completion.

• Support the sales team with technical demos, field trials, and presentations when

needed.

• Update internal teams on service progress, site challenges, and client feedback.

6. Product Knowledge & Compliance

• Develop a strong understanding of Vepolink’s products: analyzers, sensors,

controllers, IoT devices, and automation systems.

• Ensure all activities comply with safety protocols, installation standards, and

company guidelines.

• Stay updated on advancements in water monitoring technology and

instrumentation.

7. Inventory & Material Handling

• Manage assigned tools, service kits, spare parts, and equipment responsibly.

• Communicate material requirements and ensure timely availability for field tasks.

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic fundamentals.

• Ability to troubleshoot electrical/electronic equipment on-site.

• Good communication skills and customer-handling capability.

• Ability to work independently in field conditions.

• Basic documentation, reporting, and record-keeping skills.

• Willingness to travel extensively across India.

Additional Preferences (Added Advantage)

• Experience in water management, water treatment instrumentation,

automation, or industrial equipment.

• Hands-on exposure to:

• Electrical control panels
• Sensors & analyzers
• Field monitoring devices
• PLC / SCADA controllers
• Industrial IoT systems

Educational Qualifications

Preferred:

• B.Tech – Electrical Engineering

• B.Tech – Electronics & Communication

• B.Tech – Telecommunication

Acceptable:

• Diploma (Electrical / Electronics) with strong field experience
