Role Overview

Responsible for B2B sales of industrial coatings, fire-retardant systems, greases/lubricants, and specialty chemicals across Eastern India. The role includes key account management, new business development, technical support, product trials, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and convert opportunities in Steel, Power, Oil and Gas, Fertilizer, Cement & OEM sectors.
• Drive sales of coatings, fire-retardant products, greases/lubricants, and specialty chemicals.
• Conduct plant visits, customer meetings, and initiate product trials.
• Provide technical guidance on coatings, corrosion protection, fire safety, and lubrication systems.
• Deliver presentations, demos, and support during product evaluations.
• Manage the entire B2B sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and order closure.
• Ensure timely supply, technical support, and after-sales service.
• Maintain and grow key accounts through cross-selling.
• Maintain CRM entries, sales forecasts, and visit reports.
• Track competitor activities and provide market intelligence.
• Coordinate with Marketing and R&D for customer-specific solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

• M E./M.Tech Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• 8–10 years of industrial B2B sales experience
• Experience in coatings, greases/lubricants, corrosion protection, or specialty chemicals

Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical understanding of coatings, greases/lubricants & corrosion systems
• Excellent communication, negotiation & presentation skills
• Ability to travel extensively and manage territory independently
• Strong market analysis & competitor tracking ability
