Service Engineer (Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities

• Attend to

  customer breakdown calls

  (on-site & remote support).
• Diagnose and resolve

  mechanical and basic electrical issues

  in machines.
• Conduct

  installation and commissioning

  of woodworking machines and tools.
• Train operators and customer service staff on

  machine operation and daily maintenance

  .
• Create and maintain service documents:
  
• Pre-installation checklists
  
• Installation reports
  
• Customer service records
  
• Follow up on

  service-related payment collections

  .
• Promote and handle

  AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract)

  discussions with customers.
• Ensure high levels of

  customer satisfaction

  and post-sales support.
• Travel extensively across India for on-site assignments and client servicing.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

Must-Haves:

• ITI or Diploma or Bachelors degree in

  Mechanical Engineering

  .
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in:
  

• Woodworking industry

• Capital Equipment

  or

  Industrial Machinery

• Strong

  mechanical troubleshooting

  and servicing skills.
• Excellent

  communication and interpersonal skills

  .
• Willingness to travel extensively (pan-India).
  
• Confidence in interacting with

  top-level management

  and operators alike.

Good to Have:

• Prior experience with

  woodworking machines and processes

  .
• Knowledge of

  machine tools, dust collectors, CNC, or material handling systems

  .
• Experience with installation documentation and post-sales technical support.
