Job Description

SEO Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Execution:

    Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies spanning on-page, off-page, and technical SEO initiatives.
  • Technical SEO:

    Conduct regular technical SEO audits and work with development teams to resolve issues such as site speed, crawlability, indexation, structured data, and mobile-friendliness.
  • On-Page Optimization:

    Optimize website content, metadata, internal linking, and site architecture for targeted keywords and user intent.
  • Off-Page SEO:

    Manage and execute link-building strategies, including content promotion, digital PR, and competitor analysis.
  • AEO & GEO:

    Develop and implement strategies for

    Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)

    to secure featured snippets and other rich results, and for

    Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)

    to prepare the site for large language models and AI-driven search experiences.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

    Utilize SEO and analytics tools such as

    Google Analytics, Google Search Console & SEMrush

    to monitor performance, analyze data, and provide detailed reports on key metrics (rankings, organic traffic, conversion rates).
  • Troubleshooting:

    Identify and resolve SEO issues related to website structure, code, and content.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all digital initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CMS Knowledge:

    Strong working knowledge of

    WordPress

    for implementation and troubleshooting of SEO elements.
  • Proven Experience:

    4+ years of proven SEO experience with a strong track record of successful campaigns.
  • Technical Basics:

    Basic understanding of

    HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

    specifically for the purpose of SEO troubleshooting, debugging, and identifying rendering issues.
  • Optimization Focus:

    Familiarity with

    Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

    principles and a strong ability to use

    analytics-driven decision-making

    to justify SEO initiatives and measure impact.
  • Education:

    Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Soft Skills:

    Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proactive, self-starter with a collaborative mindset.
