SEO Specialist

MillionTech is looking for an experienced SEO Executive (minimum 2 years) to join our digital marketing team in Kolkata. If you have hands-on experience improving website rankings, conducting keyword research, and implementing on-page/off-page SEO strategies, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to increase organic visibility.
• Conduct detailed keyword research using tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner, etc.
• Perform on-page SEO: meta tags, heading optimisation, schema, internal linking, content structure, etc.
• Execute off-page SEO: backlink building, outreach, directory submissions, etc.
• Perform technical SEO audits to fix crawling & indexing issues.
• Track performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and similar tools.
• Analyse competitor websites to identify ranking opportunities.
• Work with the web/content team to support website performance & traffic growth.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in SEO.
• Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page & technical SEO.
• Experience using SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics.
• Strong understanding of search engine ranking algorithms.
• Ability to strategise and deliver measurable SEO results.
• Good communication & analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduation (any stream) is mandatory.
• Experience working in a digital marketing agency is a plus.

Benefits

• Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹18,000 per month (based on skills & experience)
• Work Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
