Job Profile:

We are looking for a seasoned link-building SEO Executive with 3-5 years of experience, particularly in the SaaS industry, to own and elevate our organic growth. The ideal candidate excels at off-page SEO, white-hat link-building strategies (guest posting, digital PR, outreach, link building), and on-page optimisation, and keeps pace with Google's evolving algorithm updates that impact link-building and content ranking.

Key Responsibilities:

Link-Building & Off-Page SEO

  • Develop and execute comprehensive link acquisition strategies targeting high-authority domains to improve Domain Authority and search performance
  • Conduct research to identify guest posting, broken link, and outreach opportunities; manage personalized outreach to site owners, bloggers, and influencers.
  • Monitor backlink quality, anchor text distribution, and apply disavow tactics when necessary.
  • Build and nurture relationships with third-party publishers and content creators for ongoing link partnerships.

Guest Posting & Content Outreach

  • Identify and pitch guest post ideas aligned with brand messaging, target keywords, and industry trends
  • Collaborate with content teams to create link-worthy articles tuned for external publications.
  • Track guest posting campaigns, ensuring alignment with SEO KPIs and impact assessment.

Keyword Research & On-Page Optimisation

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research using tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics/Search Console), map opportunities by intent and volume
  • Optimise on-page elements: meta tags, headings, internal linking, content structure, and images for target search queries.
  • Perform regular technical audits: site architecture, crawlability, schema markup, page speed, mobile friendliness; coordinate with devs to implement fixe.

Technical & Algorithm-Driven SEO

  • Regularly perform

    SEO audits

    (site health, crawl issues, indexing, canonicalization, etc.) and coordinate implementation with developers.
  • Implement structured data (schema), improve mobile experience, and address site speed issues.
  • Adapt to

    algorithm updates

    by adjusting strategy to maintain compliance and competitive edge.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Measure SEO performance: organic traffic, rankings, backlink profile, CTR, conversions.
  • Generate monthly reports with insights and prioritize recommendations.
  • Stay informed about algorithm changes and industry trends to update strategies accordingly.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with developers to implement SEO-recommended code changes (e.g., lazy-loading, HTML improvements).
  • Align with content and social teams for seamless content creation and distribution.

Experience:

  • 3+ years hands-on SEO experience, preferably with at least

    2 years focused on SaaS markets

  • Proven success in

    building authoritative backlinks

    from SaaS-relevant sources.
  • Strong understanding of

    ranking factors affected by Google updates

    (Panda, Penguin, Helpful Content, Link Spam).

Tools & Technical Knowledge:

  • Expert in SEO tools:

    Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, GA4, GSC

  • Familiar with

    HTML, CSS, structured data, robots.txt, and technical SEO fundamentals

  • Knowledge of

    B2B SaaS sales funnels

    and how organic content supports lead generation.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, especially for pitching outreach emails.
  • Strong project management skills to handle multiple campaigns and deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt strategies based on evolving SEO trends.
