Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website ranking and visibility.
Conduct keyword research to identify high-potential terms relevant to Giftech Globals gifting categories and seasonal campaigns.
Optimize website content, meta tags, URLs, images, and internal linking structures.
Track, analyze, and report on website performance metrics using
Google Analytics, Google Search Console
, and other SEO tools.
Build quality backlinks through outreach, guest posting, and collaboration strategies.
Perform regular site audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues (crawl errors, broken links, site speed, etc.).
Collaborate with content writers to ensure blogs, product pages, and landing pages are keyword-optimized.
Stay updated with the latest SEO, Google algorithm changes, and industry trends to maintain competitiveness.
Coordinate with the development team to implement SEO recommendations and improve site structure.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in SEO, preferably within
e-commerce, gifting, or lifestyle
sectors.
Strong understanding of
on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
.
Proficiency with SEO tools like
Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog
, and
Google Analytics/Search Console
.
Knowledge of
WordPress
or
Shopify CMS
.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with design, content, and web teams.
