Sensor Engineer

As an Electronics Specialist, your primary responsibility will involve analyzing customer requirements to identify and recommend the most suitable sensor solutions. You will be expected to independently define project scopes and objectives, utilizing various project management tools to ensure successful project delivery. This includes milestone planning, risk assessment, cross-functional team coordination, and project status reporting to the leadership team. You will also be responsible for facilitating communication between suppliers and customers, conducting technical reviews, and providing technical support to both internal and external stakeholders. To excel in this role, you must possess a deep understanding of electronics and be capable of making informed technical decisions. Familiarity with 7-step / 8D procedures for issue resolution is essential. In addition, you should be proficient in interpreting system drawings, electronic schematics, and utilizing test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies. Your role will also involve analyzing and documenting sensor design details, conducting failure analysis, and ensuring compliance with validation requirements. Experience in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R), and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) is crucial for this position. You will be responsible for managing both new development projects and modifications to existing sensor systems. Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and project management experience are key attributes that will enable you to drive project success and overcome obstacles effectively. The ideal candidate for this role should have a Bachelor's degree in Electronics or a related field, with a minimum of 4 to 8 years of relevant experience. Candidates from Electronics or Mechatronics backgrounds are preferred for this position.,
