Senior Web Designer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Web Designer with a proven track record of working on high-traffic, customer-facing websites, preferably e-commerce platforms or applications targeting international or USA markets. The ideal candidate will have a natural flair for clean, minimalistic design, a strong sense of color, typography, and aesthetics, and the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive, engaging, and conversion-driven user experiences. This role demands end-to-end ownership of the design process, from concept to final delivery, across both web and digital content.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the complete design lifecycle for websites, landing pages, product interfaces, and customer touchpoints.
• Deliver end-to-end solutions, from initial concept and user flows to final graphics and functional handoff.
• Design UI/UX for shopping carts, product catalogs, account dashboards, and other high-traffic ecommerce components.
• Create all supporting graphics and visual assets, including banners, logos, icons, infographics, email newsletters, website elements, and interactive components.
• Ensure a cohesive visual language across all platforms and devices through consistent use of colors, typography, and layout principles.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
• Collaborate with developers for pixel-perfect implementation and with marketing teams to align visuals with brand and campaign goals.
• Optimize designs for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across various devices and screen sizes.
• Use data from analytics, A/B testing, and user feedback to refine designs and improve conversion rates.
• Stay informed about global design trends, user behaviour patterns, and the evolving standards of modern UI/UX.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in web and UI/UX design, including work on eCommerce or other high-traffic, customer-facing platforms.
• Experience designing for international or USA user demographics.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in minimalistic, user-centric, and visually clean designs.
• Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Deep understanding of color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.
• Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 capabilities for design feasibility.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and data-driven design improvements.
• Understanding of WCAG accessibility guidelines and SEO-aligned design practices.
• Ability to create animations, micro-interactions, or Lottie-based assets.

Education

Bachelors degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
