Senior Web Analyst - Digital Pharmacy

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Digital/Web Analyst with demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing and web analytics to uncover actionable insights on our web and native programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in e-commerce analytics, preferably in the digital health/pharmacy domain, and will be responsible for driving data-driven decisions to enhance customer experience and optimize conversion funnels.
Education & Background
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3-6 years of experience as a Web Analyst, Digital Analyst, or similar role, preferably in an e-commerce or digital health/pharmacy environment
- Experience analyzing user behavior in e-commerce platforms, (great if have for pharma, wellness, or healthtech domains)
- Familiarity with online pharmacy customer journeys
- (Preferred) Google Analytics certification (GAIQ or GA4) or Adobe Analytics certification
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Adobe Analytics, or Mixpanel. 2+ years of hands-on experience in
GTM
, GA4
, and Firebase
- Ability to set up and validate tracking for key e-commerce events (product views, add-to-cart, checkout funnel, prescription uploads, consultations, conversions)
- Experience with
pixel implementation
(Facebook, Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.) - Strong understanding of tag management systems - Google Tag Manager (GTM)
- Design, document, and implement
event tracking plans
for websites, mobile apps (Firebase), and other digital properties - Set up and validate
pixels and conversion tracking
(Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.) - Implement and troubleshoot
MoEngage SDK
and custom event setup for user engagement campaigns - Build and maintain a structured
data layer
with collaboration from frontend/backend developers. Solid grasp of event schema design
, UTM structures
, and attribution modeling - Strong QA skills using
Tag Assistant
, Preview Mode
, DebugView
, and browser dev tools. Perform regular QA and debugging
of tracking implementations to ensure data integrity - (Preferred) Experience with A/B testing tools (Optimizely, Google Optimize, VWO)
- Proficiency in heatmap/session recording tools like Smartlook, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity
- (Preferred) Intermediate SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation
- Understanding of statistical concepts, KPIs, and e-commerce metrics like conversion rate, bounce rate, AOV, CAC, LTV, etc.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, DOM and web development concepts
- Familiarity with Shopify, Magento, or custom e-commerce platforms
- Understanding of API integrations and data flows
Key Responsibilities
Analytics Implementation & Management
- Collaborate with engineering teams on instrumentation planning and event taxonomies to ensure accurate tracking implementation
- Manage and implement website tracking using Google Tag Manager
- Set up and maintain conversion tracking for all critical business events
- Ensure data quality and consistency across all analytics platforms
- Conduct deep-dive analyses into user behavior, funnel performance, and conversion optimization opportunities
- Identify drop-off points in customer journeys and propose UX/flow improvements
- Work to enhance customer experience across various touchpoints and capture micro-conversions
Collaboration & Communication
- Coordinate with internal resources and third-party vendors for analytics implementations
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, development, engineering, and business stakeholders
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management
- Train team members on analytics tools and best practices
