Senior VisionPlus Developer (Core Banking, API Integration & Financial Systems Expertise) Job Summary: Synechron seeks a highly skilled Senior VisionPlus Developer to lead the design, development, and enhancement of VisionPlus banking and financial solutions. This role requires deep expertise in VisionPlus system integrations and related development, working closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure banking software products. The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to project success through technical leadership, innovation, and comprehensive understanding of financial services technology. Software Requirements: Required: Strong proficiency in VisionPlus system customization, configuration, and development Experience with VisionPlus API integrations and modules Knowledge of related banking software and middleware interfaces Familiarity with database management, especially relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) used in banking applications Preferred: Knowledge of banking standards such as ISO 20022, SWIFT messaging, or other financial messaging protocols Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PL/SQL) and automation tools Overall Responsibilities: Lead the development, customization, and support of VisionPlus banking solutions to meet client requirements Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand detailed technical and business specifications Develop and enhance VisionPlus modules, interfaces, and integrations to ensure robust functionality Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system optimization for VisionPlus environments Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, infrastructure, and business analysts to ensure successful project delivery Contribute to technical documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing Stay current on VisionPlus updates, banking technology trends, and regulatory changes affecting financial applications Technical Skills (By Category): Programming Languages: Essential: VisionPlus API scripting, Java, or other relevant scripting languages Preferred: JavaScript, XML, PL/SQL for backend and integration tasks Databases/Data Management: Extensive experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or relevant relational databases used in banking projects Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with deploying or supporting VisionPlus in cloud environments (e.g., private cloud, AWS, Azure) is a plus Frameworks and Libraries: Knowledge of middleware and integration platforms (e.g., WebLogic, WebSphere) Development Tools and Methodologies: Experience with version control tools such as GIT, agile development methodologies, and software lifecycle processes Security Protocols: Understanding of secure coding practices, data protection standards, and compliance requirements in banking systems Experience Requirements: Minimum of 7 years of experience working with VisionPlus or similar core banking systems Proven success in developing and supporting VisionPlus modules, interfaces, and integrations in client or enterprise environments Experience working in financial services with a strong understanding of banking operations and regulations Experience in client-facing roles or consulting environments is preferred Day-to-Day Activities: Engage in technical discussions with clients and internal teams to define system requirements and solutions Customize and develop VisionPlus modules according to project needs Conduct code reviews, testing, and performance tuning of VisionPlus components Troubleshoot system issues and facilitate root cause analysis Document technical specifications, configurations, and deployment procedures Collaborate on project planning, status updates, and risk assessments Keep abreast of banking technology developments, regulatory requirements, and VisionPlus updates Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Banking & Finance, or related field; Masters preferred Certifications in VisionPlus or core banking solutions are advantageous Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and industry best practices Professional Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of liaising with technical and business units Proven ability to lead technical tasks and mentor team members Adaptability to technological change and evolving client needs Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively Focused on delivering high-quality, scalable fintech solutions with a proactive approach to challenges
