Role Description Video Editor (Contract)

We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to join our team on a contract basis. The role involves editing raw interview and knowledge-based video content for the pet care industry, creating engaging short-form videos (e.g., Instagram Reels, social media content).

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into engaging short-form content for social media.
• Work with known brands’ content or equivalent high-quality projects.
• Apply motion graphics, colour grading, sound mixing, and smooth transitions to suit the final output.
• Understand content context and narrative to cut raw files effectively.
• Use AI editing tools where applicable (advantage).
• Collaborate with the content team, take feedback constructively, and make timely revisions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Strong skills in colour grading, motion graphics, and basic sound design.
• Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken).
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Experience in creating content for brands in lifestyle, pet care, or related industries is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI-based editing tools is an advantage.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
